The history of Moosalp Bergbahnen began in Bürchen in 1961. With the construction of the first lift, at that time still under the name Skilift Bürchen AG, the foundation stone of today's ski area was laid. Today, Moosalp Bergbahnen operates a purely winter business due to the numerous ski lifts. The ski area has 7 lifts, 14 snow guns, 4 piste machines and 25 kilometres of pistes. The ski area is family-friendly and records around 70,000 skier days per season.

The Moosalpregion ski area has something for every type of skier. It leads over the Moosalp pass and offers wonderful views of the Bietschhorn and the Mischabel group with the Dom. The Bodmen children's ski area with its large children's playground is ideal for toddlers and beginners. The Moosalp region has been a member of the Magic Pass network since the 2023/24 season.
