The history of Moosalp Bergbahnen began in Bürchen in 1961. With the construction of the first lift, then still under the name Skilift Bürchen AG, the foundation stone of today's ski area was laid. Today, due to the numerous ski lifts, Moosalp Bergbahnen currently operates a purely winter business. The ski area has nine lifts, seven snow guns, four piste machines and 25 kilometres of pistes.
